My wife Betsy and I have been property owners on Seabrook Island since 1984 and over that time have witnessed many changes on Seabrook, Kiawah and John’s Island. We moved to Seabrook as permanent residents in March of 2007. Since that time I have been actively engaged in the real estate market.
To gain as much knowledge as I can about what transpires on the Islands I have been an active member on a number of committees. I presently sit on Seabrook’s Architectural Review Committee and serve as the Membership Chair for the Kiawah Seabrook Exchange Club. I also tutor a Third Grader at Angel Oak Elementary School on John’s Island. I have been a committee member on the Seabrook Island Club’s Membership Committee and the Seabrook Island Property Owner’s Activities Committee.
Prior to moving to Seabrook Island we lived in Charlotte, NC for over twenty-eight years. My career was in the Human Resources consulting field first with Fox-Morris Associates and then with my own company Schwab Carrese Associates. Our business focus was in Executive Search, Outplacement/Career Transition Services, and later Executive Coaching. Scwhab Carrese also became extensively involved in merger and acquisition work assisting two major Charlotte Banks with the human side of the transaction. After selling our firm in 1997 to Accu-Staff, I earned my Sales and Brokers licenses and began selling Commercial Real Estate.
Helping individuals make important decisions is what I feel is the core of this business. In order to achieve that end effective listening is imperative. I welcome the opportunity to listen to your dreams and help you make them a reality.
