Since starting his real estate career, Steven has rapidly become one of the leading agents in Kiawah, Seabrook and West Islands.  He has been the leading sales person for the company in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and is one of the leading agents for the whole $10.7 billion Charleston market.

Steven was Kiawah Island Resort’s Director of Rental Operations up until joining Akers Ellis Real Estate and Rentals LLC.  Working for Kiawah Island Resort for eight years, Steven played a major role in assisting Jeff in building the largest resort rental operation on the South Carolina coast. His knowledge of Kiawah’s investment market is unmatched, and his expertise is critical to the success of the group.  Steven has a thorough knowledge of 1031 tax laws and the ever-changing rental options for investors.

Being a life long South Carolina resident, Steven has deep roots in the area and his family has been in the state for nine generations.  Steven graduated from Presbyterian College and spent time studying at Oxford University’s Corpus Christi College.  Steven’s experience, knowledge, contacts and work ethic have lead him to be one of the top agents in all of Charleston and the state.
