Today was another beautiful day at Kiawah River Estates! Yesterday, my husband and I decided to take a bike ride along the quite streets of this neighborhood. The day was sunny, with a light breeze. We passed neighbors along the way. Some were doing yard work; others were walking or bike riding, or simply walking their dogs. We rode up to the crabbing dock, walked out to the end of it, and enjoyed the beauty of Haulover Creek. Sometimes we see dolphins swimming, and when the tide is low, we can see the oyster beds, and the egrets walking in the shallow water and catching their dinner.

Today, we decided to play golf at Oak Point Golf course. We used our pull carts for some exercise, but they also have golf carts available. It’s a beautifully maintained course. It’s part of the Kiawah Island Resort courses. Kiawah River Estates home or lot owners are now able to join The Governor’s Club, which gives us access to all Kiawah Island Resort Courses, and discounts on their restaurants. Our friends are tennis players, and love tennis at Kiawah River Estates. As Governor’s Club members, they have the ability to also play tennis on Kiawah.

Summer will soon be here and Kiawah River Estates has a beautiful pool that we really enjoy. Our grandchildren love it too. There is also a club house with work out equipment and work out classes. There is no reason for anyone to be out of shape in Kiawah River Estates. The people are all very friendly and enjoy getting together at the Club House for various Holiday parties.

If you can’t live without the beach, Beach Walker Park is a short ride away. It has bathrooms and showers, and it makes going to the beach fun and easy. Kiawah River Estates is located right outside of Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island, but has wonderful real estate buys. It’s a gated community, with retired, as well as working people, and this mix makes for a wonderful community to live in.

Yes, today was another beautiful day at Kiawah River Estates, and tomorrow will be even better.
